24. Vengeance In Oxnard

On May 26, 2008 the 9U Ventura County Warriors played in the Ventura Pirates 5th Annual Memorial Weekend Tournament "Battle at the Diamonds". The tournament is a USTBA California Summer National Championship Qualifier. In the elimination round, the VC Warriors came back with vengeance to defeat the number 1 seed West Hills Mavericks to advance to the championship game against the West Hills Sea Dogs. The Warriors bats came on fire to give the Warriors a 9-2 victory over the West Hills Sea Dogs to earn them the "Battle of the Diamonds" Championship and a berth the USTBA Summer National Championships in San Diego Ca. in July.

24. Vengeance in Oxnard

Housing markets across the United States have been taken on a wild ride ever since the Covid-19 pandemic hit in early 2020. At first, shutdowns and stay-at-home orders seemed to dampen housing activity. But after several months into the pandemic, housing markets began to bounce back and, many of them, with vengeance.

Early on, Michael wanted to study social networks, so we set about looking for projects and mapping out a set of tools he would have to master through coursework and other means. He attacked all this with a vengeance. Within six months he was spearheading important efforts on physician networks, figuring out how to measure them and discerning their relevance to health care delivery and the diffusion of innovation. With others in my lab and in the department, Michael has made important discoveries related to physician-network structure and function. 041b061a72
