The Flooded City

This is the March print in the Mokuhankan 2025 subscription series, in collaboration with Atelier Sento. Here, we see a traumatic event that weighs heavily on many people's minds nowadays. While the theme is a bit dystopian and somewhat close to the bone, Atelier Sento has managed to imbue it with lots of light and a peaceful atmosphere. It gives off a solar pink vibe, evoking the feeling that, no matter what happens, people find a way, and life continues much the same as it always has. We are quite adaptable creatures. Personally, I'm getting real Sento Chihiro vibes from this one. Are they perhaps fans?
